Mohan, a middle-class transport company worker and part-time musician at a bar, lives a happy life with his supportive wife Mira. He dreams of becoming a star and a successful businessman to gain social respect in Kathmandu, though many see him as an overambitious fool. Frustrated by repeated failures, his mental health worsens, and he turns toward a destructive path. With the help of his friends and a woman named Jyami, he finds hope again like stars shining in the dark. The story ends with the message that true friends can guide you toward a brighter future.
